New York Harper & Brothers 1955 First Edition; First Printing Hardcover Very Good- in Good dust jacket
Pictorial boards and black cloth spine. Author, title, and publisher in white lettering along spine. Light wear, rubbing along lower boards edge and corners, some light wear to upper corners and just a bit of the boards. Former owner name whited out at front free endpaper. Four pages with light, old paperclip stains at top edge. 1/2" area to the lower, rear board where a piece of cover paper was lifted and replaced with some of white showing. Dust jacket is unfortunately laminated. Original price of $1.50 to lower front flap. 1" x 1/2" chip to lower rear edge, 3/4" x 1/3" chip to lower spine. Approx. 3 1/2" tear directing up from lower spine. Other small chips and edge tears. ; 24mo 5" - 6" tall
